Staff Structural Analyst
Archer is seeking a Staff Structural Analyst to join our dynamic team dedicated to advancing sustainable air mobility. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of our electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, contributing to the future of urban transportation.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing detailed structural analyses to ensure the integrity and safety of our aircraft designs. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting finite element analyses, evaluating material properties, and collaborating closely with design engineers to optimize structural components. Additionally, you will support the development of test plans and participate in the validation of structural performance through testing and data analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or structural engineering, along with a minimum of five years of experience in structural analysis within the aerospace industry. Proficiency in finite element analysis software, a strong understanding of composite materials, and familiarity with industry standards and certification processes are essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment are also required.
