The Staff Supplier Sourcing Engineer at Anduril Industries is responsible for developing strategic supply networks and managing the cost of product hardware throughout its lifecycle. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure efficient and cost-effective product development and production.

Key responsibilities include selecting suppliers from an approved list, partnering with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, and driving the development and consolidation of manufacturing bills of materials. The engineer will also manage capital expenditures during new product introduction, conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead times, and lead cost engineering activities to maximize total cost of ownership across the product lifecycle.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and have over 10 years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or the design of electronic and mechanical devices. Experience in leading large teams, mentoring junior members, and creating organizational impact is essential. The role requires the ability to travel between 10% and 40% of the time, depending on program needs, and candidates must be willing to relocate to Costa Mesa, California, if not already local.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 annually, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as experience, education, and critical skills.
