Staff System Engineer
As a Staff System Engineer at Celonis, you will be a key member of our Platform Infrastructure Engineering team, responsible for orchestrating a global multi-cloud ecosystem. Celonis, founded in 2011, has rapidly expanded to serve over 1,350 customers worldwide, offering cutting-edge process intelligence software. Our team treats infrastructure as a product, abstracting complexity to ensure reliability and security, thereby empowering developers to deliver features efficiently.
In this role, you will design and implement secure, stable, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Managing over 150 active Kubernetes clusters across 19+ geo-locations, you will streamline the configuration of our infrastructure stack, ensuring scalability and reliability. Your responsibilities will also include optimizing resource management, enhancing system performance, and enabling non-interruptive operations to support our dynamic SaaS environment.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in multi-cloud environments and Kubernetes cluster management. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, and a strong understanding of GitOps practices are essential. A background in implementing security models centered around scoped, short-lived tokens and experience with Policy as Code (PaC) tools such as Kyverno will be highly advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment are crucial.
