Agility Robotics is at the forefront of developing humanoid robots designed to operate in real-world environments. As a Staff Systems Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our humanoid robot platform meets all product acceptance requirements. This position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with short-term travel to Salem, Oregon.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive system-level verification and validation (V&V) test plans for our fully integrated humanoid robots. Your day-to-day activities will include developing and running test plans, troubleshooting issues, and reporting on test results. You will collaborate closely with Systems Engineering, Software, Controls, and Product Management teams to ensure that our robots function as intended in real-world customer environments.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in system-level verification and validation of complex electromechanical systems, such as robotics, autonomous systems, automotive, or aerospace. Hands-on experience with robot simulation environments for test case development and execution is essential. Familiarity with safety-critical system validation and functional safety standards like ISO 13849, IEC 61508, or ISO 26262 is required. Proficiency in Python or similar languages for developing automated test scripts and frameworks is also necessary.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $177,000 to $230,000 USD.
