Staff Technical Program Manager, Ops/MFG
Lucid Motors is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead the development and execution of complex vehicle body programs from concept through production. This role involves managing simultaneous engineering teams (SETs) focused on aluminum-intensive and mixed-material body-in-white (BIW) architectures, ensuring alignment with Lucid's commitment to innovation in luxury electric vehicles.
The primary responsibilities include leading SETs across all program phases—concept, architecture, design, industrialization, launch, and post-start of production. The role requires ownership of integrated program plans, critical paths, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies for BIW systems. Additionally, the manager will drive execution to meet aggressive targets for cost, timing, quality, and mass, while ensuring early and continuous manufacturability alignment.
Candidates must have a proven ability to independently initiate and lead complex automotive programs, with a track record of delivering at least one full vehicle or major subsystem program through start of production. Strong hands-on knowledge of BIW systems, particularly aluminum-intensive and mixed-material structures, is essential. The role also demands exceptional ownership mindset, structured decision-making skills, and clear communication across engineering and executive audiences.
