Strategic Account Manager
The Strategic Account Manager – Service Provider (SAM-SP) at Cato Networks is responsible for driving the company's Service Provider strategy by developing strategic partnerships with regional network operators. This role focuses on accelerating joint pipeline growth and positioning Private PoP as the preferred deployment model. The SAM-SP reports to the Head of GSP/SI and collaborates cross-functionally with field sales, channel, global alliances, and technical teams to enhance revenue and market penetration.
Key responsibilities include owning and managing a defined set of regional service providers and network operators as named strategic accounts. The SAM-SP is expected to build executive-level relationships, establish long-term strategic partnerships, and drive joint business planning and revenue growth with partners. Additionally, the role involves executing Cato’s regional Service Provider strategy to maximize market coverage and partner engagement, consistently positioning Private PoP as the preferred deployment model within partner networks.
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in service provider engagement, particularly with telecommunications providers, network operators, or managed service providers. A strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud technologies is essential. Proven ability to build executive relationships, drive strategic partnerships, and develop and execute joint business plans is required. Demonstrated success in driving pipeline and revenue growth through partners, along with strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, are also necessary.
Cato Networks offers a competitive compensation package for this role, with a total estimated compensation ranging from $290,000 to $320,000.
