The Strategic Account Operations Associate at Divergent plays a pivotal role in supporting the company's defense prime accounts. Key responsibilities include assisting Strategic Account Executives with daily account management tasks, preparing meeting briefs, maintaining CRM data, and tracking opportunity progress. The role also involves conducting market and program research across defense primes and Department of Defense programs, building and maintaining program profiles, and synthesizing research into actionable insights for account planning. Additionally, the associate will organize internal account intelligence, develop customer presentation materials, and coordinate with engineering and product teams to gather inputs for customer engagement.
Candidates should have 2–6 years of experience in business, engineering, consulting, government, or defense-related roles. Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills are essential, along with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The role requires comfort in exercising independent judgment within defined objectives and an interest in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or national security.
