Strategic Sourcing Analyst

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst at Stripe plays a pivotal role within the Finance Operations (FinOps) team, which is integral to the company's financial infrastructure. This position focuses on enhancing procurement processes and supplier management to support Stripe's mission of increasing the GDP of the internet.

Key responsibilities include drafting and managing RFx documents in collaboration with global category managers, conducting market research to inform sourcing strategies, and analyzing supplier rate submissions against industry benchmarks. The analyst will also oversee contract analysis, maintain sourcing metadata, and proactively track service level agreements to ensure compliance and value delivery.

Candidates should possess 5 to 8 years of experience in indirect sourcing, procurement, or category management. A strong understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, and experience in supplier contracting are essential. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also required.
