Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Anduril Industries is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to enhance its supply chain operations. The position is based in McHenry, Mississippi, and requires a proactive individual capable of navigating the complexities of the defense manufacturing sector.
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for selecting suppliers from an approved list, conducting value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead times, and managing capital expenditures throughout new product introductions. Additionally, the role includes conducting bill of materials risk assessments, ensuring component qualifications are completed ahead of production, and leading cost engineering activities to achieve product cost targets.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain management, along with 6 to 10 years of experience in a strategic sourcing role within a defense manufacturing company. Essential qualifications include expertise in sourcing engineering components, supplier development, early supplier engagement, and a strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations. The role also requires the ability to travel up to 50% and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Anduril Industries offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 to $149,000, along with highly competitive equity grants.
