Strategic Sourcing Specialist
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Anduril Industries plays a pivotal role in enhancing the company's supply chain operations. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to develop and manage supplier relationships that align with Anduril's mission to transform defense capabilities through advanced technology.
Key responsibilities include selecting suppliers from an approved list, partnering with them to accelerate product development, and driving the development and consolidation of manufacturing bills of materials. The role also entails managing capital expenditures throughout new product introductions, conducting value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead times, and leading cost engineering activities to maximize total cost of ownership across the product lifecycle.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain, along with 6-10 years of experience in a strategic sourcing role within a defense manufacturing company. Essential qualifications include expertise in sourcing engineering components, supplier development, early supplier engagement, and a strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and AS9100 QMS requirements. The role requires the ability to travel up to 50% and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 to $149,000, along with highly competitive equity grants.
