Structural Analysis Engineer, Space
As a Structural Analysis Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will be an integral part of the Space team, dedicated to enhancing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control, and Command and Control for U.S. military and allied partners. In this role, you will support new space hardware programs from concept through launch, performing stress analyses to determine strength, life, and safety margins using both first-order and advanced analytical methods. You will develop computational models and simulations to predict dynamic environments, stress distribution, deformation, fracture, and fatigue life, collaborating with hardware engineering disciplines to guide design decisions based on analysis results.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or applied physics with a focus on structures, along with a deep understanding of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and material properties. Proficiency in CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks, as well as experience with MATLAB or Python for developing analytical models, data acquisition, and automation, is essential. Candidates must be highly motivated, self-starting, and capable of performing duties autonomously without supervision.
Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $129,000 to $171,000 USD, along with highly competitive equity grants.
