Supervisor, QC Investigations
The Supervisor, QC Investigations at Legend Biotech is responsible for overseeing the quality control microbiology laboratories supporting cell therapy manufacturing. This role involves managing laboratory operations, including staff development, performance management, and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards. The position is based in Raritan, New Jersey, and plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of Legend Biotech's innovative cell therapy products.
Key responsibilities include ensuring adequate training of laboratory personnel, scheduling daily activities, and overseeing raw material, in-process, environmental, utility, and product release testing. The supervisor will lead investigations into laboratory non-conformances, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments, and manage test method verification and validation activities. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business needs and contributing to global QC laboratory strategies.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with a minimum of six years of relevant work experience, preferably in an aseptic manufacturing facility. At least one year of leadership experience is required. The role demands extensive knowledge of chemical, biochemical, and microbiological concepts, as well as familiarity with cGMP regulations and FDA/EU guidance. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and effective communication skills are essential.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $107,482 to $141,070 USD annually.
