Sustainment Engineer
As a Sustainment Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing comprehensive sustainment strategies for our advanced defense products. This position is integral to ensuring the operational readiness and longevity of our systems, directly contributing to the enhancement of military capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate engineering innovations into reliable, supportable systems for our warfighters.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining detailed sustainment plans for specific products, partnering with customers and internal teams to define and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies, and ensuring the availability of up-to-date maintenance procedures and technical manuals. You will serve as the main point of contact for all sustainment-related matters within your assigned product team, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal system performance.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in mechanical or systems engineering principles applied to complex hardware systems. Proficiency with professional CAD software and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools is essential. A foundational understanding of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, such as maintenance planning and technical data management, is required. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in product support, sustainment engineering, or systems engineering roles within high-rigor environments like defense or aerospace.
