Systems Engineer, ADAS
As a Systems Engineer specializing in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Harbinger Motors, you will play a pivotal role in defining and architecting ADAS features for our commercial electric delivery trucks. This position involves leading the systems engineering lifecycle, from conceptualizing customer use cases and sensor architectures to managing Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and overseeing vehicle-level validation processes.
Your primary responsibilities will include defining high-level requirements and use cases for core ADAS features such as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Virtual Bumper (VB), and Backup Camera (BUC). You will develop logical and physical system architectures that illustrate interactions between sensors, controllers, and physical systems. Additionally, you will lead Functional Safety analyses and create work products at both the concept and system levels for ADAS functions.
To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or other relevant educational credential, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive ADAS systems engineering. Hands-on experience with ISO 26262 Functional Safety is essential, as is proficiency with Matlab/Simulink control logic. A strong understanding of industry standards and best practices related to ADAS, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment, is also required.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000 USD annually.
