Systems Engineer - Advanced Technology
Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Advanced Technology team in Long Beach, CA. This role involves leading system-level engineering efforts for our space computers portfolio, encompassing the entire product lifecycle from requirements development to system integration and qualification. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and reports to the Vice President of Technology Development.
The Systems Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customers, engineers, and program management, to develop and manage system requirements and verification matrices. Responsibilities include designing top-level system architectures, defining internal and external interfaces, performing optimization analyses, and supporting integration, verification, and validation processes. Additionally, the role involves developing system-level test plans and ensuring compliance with Voyager Technologies' quality standards.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or systems engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (6 years with a Master's degree or 4 years with a Ph.D.). Required qualifications include excellent communication skills, familiarity with requirements management software, and at least 5 years of leadership experience in technical product development. Experience with flight software systems, embedded systems development, and various embedded processors and protocols is also essential.
