The Systems Engineer II position at Voyager Technologies, Inc. involves supporting requirements development, system verification activities, risk management, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts on Missile Defense Agency (MDA)-aligned missile defense programs. This role focuses on executing defined systems engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers while developing a solid foundation in system-level thinking, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the development and maintenance of system, subsystem, and interface requirements, supporting the creation of system-level verification plans and compliance matrices, and contributing to risk identification and mitigation strategies. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, including propulsion, software, hardware, test, guidance, navigation, and control (GNC), quality, and safety, as well as supporting the development and maintenance of MBSE artifacts using SysML and Cameo/MagicDraw.

Required qualifications encompass a bachelor's degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related STEM field from an accredited college or university, with a master's degree potentially substituting for one year of experience. Candidates must be U.S. citizens due to federal contract eligibility and possess or be able to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance. The position requires 2 to 4 years of systems engineering experience in Department of Defense, aerospace, or related engineering programs, along with experience supporting requirements development, verification activities, or risk management. Familiarity with MBSE concepts and SysML modeling tools is desirable.

Voyager Technologies offers a comprehensive total compensation package, including a competitive salary, discretionary annual bonus plan, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, retirement savings, and a wellness program.
