Systems Engineer III - Aerospace

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer III to join our team in Folsom, CA, or Reno, NV. The Systems Engineer III will lead and support requirements development, system verification planning and execution, risk management, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts. Key responsibilities include maintaining system, subsystem, and interface requirements; developing and managing system-level verification plans; conducting technical risk assessments; and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as propulsion, software, hardware, test, guidance and control, quality, and safety. The role also involves supporting the development and maintenance of MBSE artifacts using SysML and Cameo/MagicDraw.

Candidates should have 4 to 7 years of systems engineering experience in Department of Defense (DoD), aerospace, or missile defense programs. Proven experience in requirements development, verification planning, and risk management is essential. Familiarity with MDA processes, technical reviews, and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) development is required. Hands-on experience with MBSE methodologies and modeling using SysML in tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler is also necessary. A bachelor's degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related STEM field from an accredited college or university is required.
