Systems Engineer, PES
Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Precision Engagement Systems (PES) team within the Tactical Recon & Strike division. This team focuses on developing small aerial drones (Group 1-2) and associated equipment, transforming concepts like Anvil and Bolt from initial sketches to fully operational systems. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to address complex challenges and enhance military capabilities through advanced technology.
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for conceptualizing system architectures for vehicle upgrades and new UAV products, managing engineering efforts across various disciplines, and developing test plans for critical subsystems. Additional duties include creating interface controls for hardware, software, and electrical integration of unique payloads, leading data analysis to identify performance trends, and conducting hands-on UAV testing, which may require occasional travel.
Candidates should possess 7-10 years of industry experience in systems engineering or related fields, with familiarity in mechanical and electrical engineering, software development, and control theory. Hands-on experience with complex robotic or aircraft systems, proficiency in electronics troubleshooting, and strong organizational and communication skills are essential. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance is required.
