Systems Integration Engineer, High Speed Missiles
The Systems Integration Engineer, High Speed Missiles role at Anduril Industries involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics and mission systems into air vehicles. This position is part of the Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team, which is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for missile platforms. Key responsibilities include developing and modifying 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components, conducting simulations and analyses to validate designs, building prototypes, analyzing failures, and transitioning successful projects into production. The engineer will also lead design reviews, perform analyses, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans, support critical hardware demonstrations for customers, and travel to test sites or vendor facilities as needed.
Required qualifications include a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of experience in air vehicle systems integration. Candidates should have familiarity with hypersonic missiles and military standards, proficiency with Siemens NX CAD software, strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills, and U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications encompass experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Teamcenter or Windchill, an active Top Secret DoD clearance, and experience with unmanned air vehicle (UAV) design and development.
The salary range for this role is $129,000 to $171,000 USD annually.
