Systems Modeling Engineer, ESS
The Systems Modeling Engineer, ESS, will join Peak Energy's Energy Storage Systems (ESS) team, focusing on the development and optimization of utility-scale sodium-ion energy storage solutions. This role is integral to advancing Peak Energy's mission of building a stable, energy-independent future through innovative and reliable energy storage systems.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing system models to simulate and analyze the performance of energy storage systems under various operating conditions. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to inform design decisions, optimize system performance, and support the validation of products from concept through field deployment.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in system modeling and simulation. Proficiency in modeling tools and software, experience with energy storage systems or power electronics, and a passion for renewable energy and sustainability are essential.
