Systems Test Engineer, Space
Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join their Space team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves leading the testing of integrated space system qualification and flight hardware, contributing to the development of advanced defense technologies. The Space team focuses on enhancing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control, and Command and Control for U.S. military and allied partners by developing fully integrated hardware and software systems.
The Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for deriving test requirements, executing tests, and reporting results, ensuring all tests are conducted safely. Responsibilities include testing at various integration levels, from unit-level to full space vehicle systems, and developing, maintaining, and upgrading test support hardware such as Electrical and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment.
Candidates should have a strong engineering background in fields like Electrical, Software, or Aerospace Engineering. Experience in assembling, integrating, and testing space systems flight hardware is essential, with a focus on comprehensive test coverage and high-value test campaigns. A deep understanding of industry and government test standards, experience with space environmental testing (including vibration, thermal vacuum, and EMI/EMC), and the ability to navigate complex systems and requirements are required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is also necessary.
The salary range for this position is $146,000 to $194,000 annually.
