The Tax Coordinator at Hotmart will lead the compliance of indirect taxes, ensuring accurate calculation, timely submission of tax obligations, and adherence to federal, state, and municipal regulations. This role involves monitoring regulatory changes and managing the operational aspects of the tax department, including meeting deadlines, maintaining documentation, supporting audits, and ensuring efficiency in monthly tax closures. The coordinator will drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process automation, enhancement of tax tools, and strengthening internal controls and tax reporting. Collaboration with business units such as Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations is essential to provide tax analysis for new products, business models, and strategic decisions. Leading a team of approximately six professionals, the coordinator will develop the team, enhance analytical capabilities, structure processes, and improve productivity and quality of deliverables. Participation in strategic tax projects, including preparation for tax reform, automation of tax routines, and development of risk management and performance indicators, is also a key responsibility. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting, Law, or related fields, solid technical knowledge of all indirect taxes in Brazil, experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), and advanced English proficiency. Preferred qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Tax Law or Accounting, experience in technology companies, fintechs, marketplaces, or digital platforms, experience with tax process automation, and interest or experience in data analytics applied to the tax area.
