The Team Lead, Data Operations at PitchBook Data is responsible for managing a team of Data Operations Associates and Senior Associates to enhance and validate the data utilized in the PitchBook Platform. This role ensures that specific datasets meet high-quality standards while continually improving team efficiency, productivity, and data integrity. Key responsibilities include managing and driving team operations to improve data quality and quantity, onboarding new team members, conducting regular performance reviews, and supporting career development. The Team Lead serves as the authoritative point person on assigned datasets, compiling market intelligence, identifying systemic data problems, and driving operational and methodological improvements. Collaboration with the Data Operations team in Mumbai is essential to coordinate workflow operations and ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators are met.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree and over two years of experience in operations, program, or process management. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to mentor junior team members, possesses exemplary verbal and written communication skills, and operates with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results. Self-motivation, goal orientation, and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team are essential. An interest in financial markets, particularly private equity and venture capital, along with analytical and process-oriented skills, is highly valued.
