Technical Operations Engineer, Air Defense
Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join their Air Defense team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves deploying and supporting Anduril's advanced defense technology products globally, working closely with engineering teams to enhance product performance and reliability. The position requires a proactive approach to ensure mission success in diverse and challenging environments.
Key responsibilities include executing technical operations, conducting field maintenance, and providing customer support and training for military air defense projects. The engineer will address complex hardware, software, and networking issues, develop operational and logistical plans, and perform root-cause analyses for defense systems in the field. Maintaining up-to-date documentation and ensuring high system availability are also essential aspects of the role.
Candidates should have at least three years of experience solving problems in unstructured environments involving hardware, software, and networking. The role requires the ability to climb towers to install and maintain sensor equipment, a strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting critical infrastructure, and experience with preventative maintenance on structural components. Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance and be willing to travel to remote regions for up to two months at a time.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 to $149,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
