Technical Operations Engineer, Counter Intrusion
Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join their Counter Intrusion team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves deploying and supporting Anduril's defense products globally, working closely with engineering teams to enhance product performance and reliability. The position requires a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges in diverse and unpredictable environments.
Key responsibilities include executing technical operations for military defense projects, conducting field maintenance, and providing customer support and training. The engineer will address hardware, software, and networking issues, develop operational and logistical plans, and ensure the high availability and performance of defense systems. Additional duties involve incident response, root-cause analyses, and maintaining comprehensive system documentation.
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in problem-solving within unstructured environments, particularly at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking. The role demands the ability to climb towers to install and maintain sensor equipment, a strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting site infrastructure, and experience operating specialized equipment such as aerial lifts and forklifts. A willingness to travel to remote regions for extended periods and eligibility to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/Secret clearance are also required.
