Technical Program Manager - Defense
Applied Intuition is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex defense-related projects, collaborating closely with subject matter experts to develop solutions for customer challenges. This role is based in Washington, D.C., with relocation assistance available.
The Technical Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for project execution, tracking progress, and ensuring the successful completion of milestones and deliverables. Responsibilities include engaging with customers to identify additional needs, providing regular updates to internal teams on customer use cases, evaluating project timelines, and leading the creation of detailed technical proposals in response to customer RFQs.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens capable of obtaining a security clearance and possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. A minimum of three years of industry experience leveraging data and technical knowledge to support software programs is required, along with familiarity with the Department of Defense autonomy ecosystem and hands-on experience managing complex projects.
Preferred qualifications include an active secret or top-secret clearance, direct experience working with Department of Defense clients on software use cases, familiarity with various data management and simulation providers, hands-on experience with data or simulation software used for autonomy, and knowledge of both software and hardware aspects of software development and testing, such as high-performance computing and real-time test systems.
Applied Intuition offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $140,000 to $185,000 annually, equity options, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, 401(k) retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
