Applied Intuition is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex autonomous trucking engineering projects. This role involves close collaboration with internal engineers and customer teams to implement solutions that advance customers' autonomy deployment goals. The position is based in Sunnyvale, California, and requires primarily in-office work with some flexibility for remote work as needed.

The Technical Program Manager will own strategic trucking autonomy projects critical to engagements with global truck OEMs. Responsibilities include driving large-scale, cross-disciplinary initiatives focused on Level 4 (L4) autonomy for trucks, integrating hardware, software, and operations to accelerate development, deployment, and commercialization. The role also involves collaborating directly with OEM customers, engineering teams, and executives to understand use cases, define clear requirements, and address technical challenges to ensure project success. Additionally, the manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, safety, and operations, to deliver major program milestones and support business development activities by drafting technical proposals, authoring RFQ responses, and hosting technology demonstrations.

Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced software, robotics, or autonomous vehicle programs (ADAS or L4 autonomy). Hands-on experience managing complex, cross-functional engineering programs is essential. Proficiency in defining technical requirements and program plans from customer use cases, as well as experience with standard program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, Confluence, risk tracking), is required. Familiarity with autonomous driving or ADAS technology stacks, including perception, planning, controls, or HIL/SIL validation, is also necessary. Direct experience with L4 autonomy programs is preferred.

The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $115,000 to $222,000 annually, equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, 401(k) retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Benefits are subject to change and may vary based on the jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition fosters a collaborative and innovative work environment, emphasizing the development of cutting-edge technologies in autonomous vehicles.
