Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager at Monks, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of software projects that align with business objectives. You will be instrumental in driving both technical and commercial excellence, bringing structure to complex initiatives, proactively managing risks, and ensuring that project outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, coordinating communication and documentation across teams, and ensuring that backlogs, tickets, and release plans remain current and actionable. You will also be tasked with identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks, dependencies, and blockers, developing contingency plans, and escalating critical issues as necessary. Additionally, you will maintain clear and consistent communication with product, engineering, QA, and external stakeholders, delivering reports and updates tailored to both technical and business audiences.

To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience managing cross-functional technical projects from initiation to delivery, a strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban lifecycles, and proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Smartsheet. Strong financial acumen, including the ability to track margins, revenue, and project costs, is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt across technical and business stakeholders, are also required. A minimum English proficiency level of B2+ is expected.
