Technical Publications Manager, Fury Fighter Aircraft
Anduril Industries is seeking a Technical Publications Manager to lead the development and delivery of technical documentation for the Fury Fighter Aircraft program. This role is integral to the Mission Success team, a cross-functional group responsible for product operations, training, and user documentation. The Technical Publications Manager will oversee the creation, review, and editing of S1000D data modules using Siemens Rapid Author. Responsibilities include managing the scope and schedule for all contractual milestones related to technical manual development, monitoring team progress, and providing regular status reports to leadership. The role also involves risk management, effective communication with government representatives, and leading a team of technical writers to ensure timely and defect-free deliverables.
Candidates should have at least eight years of experience in generating technical documentation, preferably in accordance with military standards, and a minimum of three years managing technical manual development in a fast-paced program environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering documentation, experience with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) for S1000D publications, and the ability to create Department of Defense-focused content in XML are required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $146,000 to $194,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
