Technical Solutions Engineer II
As a Technical Solutions Engineer II at Diligent Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting complex and enterprise pre-sales engagements by designing, prototyping, and demonstrating tailored Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions. Collaborating closely with Sales, Solution Architects, Product, and Professional Services teams, you will translate sophisticated customer requirements into compelling technical solutions that accelerate deal velocity and drive technical wins. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, customer-facing problem-solving, and building prototypes that showcase how modern GRC platforms integrate into enterprise ecosystems.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Sales, Solutions Engineers, and Solution Architects to support mid-market and enterprise GRC opportunities. You will own the technical pre-sales win for assigned deals, encompassing solution validation, design, and risk mitigation. Additionally, you will design and deliver tailored demos, technical deep dives, and proofs-of-concept (POCs) to effectively demonstrate the capabilities of Diligent's solutions.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, solutions architecture, or software implementation or integration roles. Strong proficiency in Python is essential, including experience with REST APIs, data handling and transformation, and automation scripts and tooling. Familiarity with common Python libraries such as Pandas and Requests is expected. Exposure to workflow automation platforms, data pipelines or ETL processes, and security, audit, or compliance tooling is also beneficial. Experience supporting enterprise or regulated customers and working in customer-facing roles within B2B SaaS or enterprise software is highly valued.
