Telecom Billing Operations Manager
Skylo Technologies is seeking a Telecom Billing Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end clearing and settlement processes within our global connectivity services. This role is based in Bangalore, India, and involves close collaboration with our Core Network team, global Mobile Network Operator (MNO) billing departments, Data Clearing Houses (DCH), and Financial Clearing Houses (FCH). The successful candidate will ensure 100% data integrity from the satellite air interface to the final financial settlement.
Key responsibilities include leading the technical setup with DCH/FCH partners, managing the end-to-end testing of TAP/BCE file exchanges, and aligning with MNO wholesale billing teams on rating and currency conversion logic. The role also involves driving the technical billing validation phase of roaming launches, owning the implementation of TAP3 and BCE protocols, and ensuring compliance with GSMA standards. Additionally, the manager will audit the flow of Call Detail Records (CDRs) from the Core Network to the Billing Mediation layer, handle error analysis and correction, and implement automated reconciliation tools to prevent revenue leakage.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in DCH/FCH, MNO Wholesale Billing teams, or Roaming Vendors. They should possess deep expertise in TAP, RAP, and BCE standards, advanced SQL skills, and experience with data analysis tools like Python, Excel, or Tableau. A strong understanding of 4G/5G call flows and their impact on billing records is essential, along with a proven track record of identifying and resolving issues in complex international roaming environments.
