Square is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join our dynamic field sales team in Baltimore. This role is pivotal in expanding our local presence and directly contributing to the economic empowerment of businesses within the community. As a Territory Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving Square's mission by engaging with local sellers and providing them with our comprehensive suite of financial and commerce solutions.

In this position, you will spend approximately 80% of your time in the field, actively engaging with local businesses through door-to-door outreach, community events, and strategic partnerships. Your responsibilities will include generating leads, conducting needs assessments, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and closing deals across Square's diverse product offerings. Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with local sellers will be essential, as will collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of full-cycle sales experience, including field sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. Strong business development skills, such as prospecting and cold calling, are crucial. Candidates must possess reliable transportation and reside within the Baltimore area to effectively cover the assigned territory. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is also required.

Square offers a competitive compensation package, with salary ranges varying based on geographic location. For the Baltimore area, the compensation range is between $123,400 and $185,200 annually, which includes target variable compensation.
