Territory Account Executive
Square is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join its field sales organization, focusing on engaging with local businesses to promote Square's comprehensive ecosystem of software and hardware solutions. This role is pivotal in expanding Square's presence in high-potential markets by building strong relationships with sellers and driving economic empowerment within the community.
The Territory Account Executive will spend approximately 80% of their time in the field, conducting face-to-face meetings with local businesses, performing product demonstrations, and closing deals. Responsibilities include generating leads, identifying business needs, and executing a full-cycle sales process. Additionally, the role involves developing a robust pipeline through various outreach methods, such as door-to-door visits, community engagement, events, networking, and forming strategic partnerships.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a full-cycle closing role with direct field sales experience, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and the ability to manage complex deals independently in a dynamic environment. Experience in business development activities like hunting and cold calling is essential. Applicants must possess reliable transportation and reside in or near the designated market area. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is also required.
Square offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and target variable compensation. The total compensation ranges from $123,400 to $223,100 annually, depending on the geographic zone and the candidate's qualifications.
