The Territory Account Executive at Square is a pivotal role within our field sales organization, focusing on engaging local businesses to promote and sell Square's comprehensive suite of products. Key responsibilities include spending approximately 80% of the workweek in the field, conducting 50–60 targeted business visits weekly. The role involves generating leads, identifying client needs, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and closing deals across Square's full product suite. Additionally, the executive will build strong, trust-based relationships with local sellers, ensure seamless onboarding experiences, and develop a high-velocity sales pipeline through various outreach methods.

Candidates should possess at least 3 years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role with field sales experience. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets, selling a diverse ecosystem of products, and closing complex deals is essential. The ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, along with business development experience such as hunting and cold calling, is also required. Reliable transportation and residency within the designated market are necessary for this field position.

Square offers a competitive compensation package, with salary ranges varying based on location. For example, in Zone A, the salary range is $148,700 to $223,100, which includes target variable compensation.
