Territory Account Executive - Edmonton Alberta
Square is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join its high-impact field sales team in Edmonton, Alberta. This role is pivotal in advancing Square's mission of economic empowerment by directly engaging with local businesses to promote and implement Square's comprehensive suite of software and hardware solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding Square's presence and fostering strong relationships within the Edmonton business community.
The Territory Account Executive will dedicate approximately 80% of their time to field activities, including visiting 50–60 targeted businesses weekly, conducting live demonstrations, and closing deals. Responsibilities encompass generating leads, identifying client needs, delivering compelling product presentations, and managing the full sales cycle. Additionally, the role involves building a robust pipeline through door-to-door outreach, community engagement, events, networking, and establishing high-value partnerships.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of full-cycle sales experience, particularly in field sales roles, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. Experience in business development activities such as hunting and cold calling is essential. Applicants must have reliable transportation and reside within the Edmonton market. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is required, and experience in payment processing or related technologies is advantageous.
Compensation for this position is competitive, with a salary range of $159,900 to $239,900 CAD, depending on location and experience.
