The Territory Account Executive role at Square involves field sales execution, building relationships with local businesses, generating leads, and meeting sales targets in a high-performance environment. As a key member of Square's field sales organization, you will bring the company's mission of economic empowerment directly to businesses in Glasgow.

In this role, you will spend approximately 80% of your week in the field, engaging with local businesses through door-to-door outreach, community events, and networking. Your responsibilities include generating leads, conducting live demos, and closing deals across Square's full product suite. Additionally, you will develop a repeatable top-of-funnel engine, work with channel partners to generate a consistent referral stream, and build deep expertise in key verticals such as restaurants, retail, and services.

The ideal candidate has over three years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role with field sales experience. You should have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, selling a diverse ecosystem of products, and closing complex deals. Strong business development skills, including hunting and cold calling, are essential. Since this is a field position, reliable transportation and residency in the Glasgow area are required. A collaborative and team-player mentality, along with prior experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools, is also important.
