Territory Account Executive, Mississauga
Square is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join its field sales team in Mississauga, Ontario. This role involves engaging directly with local businesses to promote Square's comprehensive suite of financial and commerce solutions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding Square's presence and supporting the economic empowerment of businesses within the community.
The Territory Account Executive will spend approximately 80% of their time in the field, conducting face-to-face meetings with local businesses. Key responsibilities include generating leads, performing needs assessments, delivering product demonstrations, and closing sales across Square's product offerings. Additionally, the role involves building strong relationships with local sellers, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences, and developing referral strategies to foster ongoing business growth.
Candidates should possess at least 3 years of full-cycle sales experience, including field sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. Experience in business development activities such as cold calling is essential. Applicants must have reliable transportation and reside within the Mississauga area. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is also required.
