Territory Account Executive, Riverside
Square is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join its dynamic field sales team, focusing on the Riverside area. This role is pivotal in extending Square's mission of economic empowerment by directly engaging with local businesses to offer tailored solutions from Square's comprehensive suite of software and hardware products. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building strong community relationships and driving business growth within the assigned territory.
The Territory Account Executive will dedicate approximately 80% of their time to field activities, including visiting 50–60 local businesses weekly to generate leads, conduct product demonstrations, and close sales. Responsibilities encompass developing a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and swift value realization for new clients.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of full-cycle sales experience, particularly in field sales roles, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex deals. Essential skills include the ability to independently drive sales in a fast-paced environment, experience in business development activities such as cold calling, and proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Reliable transportation and residency within the Riverside market are mandatory for this position.
Square offers a competitive compensation package, with salary ranges varying based on geographic zones. For Zone A locations, the salary range is $148,700 to $223,100, inclusive of target variable compensation.
