The role also involves establishing trust-based relationships with local sellers, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences, and implementing referral strategies to foster ongoing business growth.

Candidates should possess at least 3 years of full-cycle sales experience, particularly in field sales roles, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. Essential skills include the ability to independently drive deals in fast-paced environments, experience in business development activities such as cold calling, and proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Reliable transportation and residency within the San Francisco market are required, as the role demands extensive in-person engagement.

Square offers a competitive compensation package, with salary ranges varying based on location and market conditions. For the San Francisco area, the salary range is between $148,700 and $223,100, inclusive of target variable compensation.
