Territory Account Executive, St. Louis
Square is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join its field sales team in St. Louis. This role involves engaging local businesses, conducting live demonstrations, and closing deals to promote Square's mission of economic empowerment. The position is field-driven, requiring a proactive and strategic approach to sales.
Key responsibilities include spending approximately 80% of the week in the field, visiting 50–60 targeted businesses weekly. The executive will run a full-cycle, self-sourced sales motion: generating leads, identifying needs, delivering compelling demos, and closing deals across Square's full product suite. Building strong, trust-based relationships with local sellers and implementing a disciplined referral strategy are also essential.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role with field sales experience. Experience exceeding sales targets, selling a diverse ecosystem of products, and closing complex deals is required. The ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and business development experience, such as hunting and cold calling, are also necessary. Reliable transportation and residency in the St. Louis market are essential.
Compensation ranges from $123,400 to $223,100 annually, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and life insurance.
