Total Rewards Coordinator

The Total Rewards Coordinator at Hut 8 is a pivotal role responsible for administering the organization's comprehensive total rewards programs. This position collaborates with various stakeholders to support benefits strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide exceptional service to employees regarding benefits, leave, equity compensation, and payroll. The ideal candidate will possess operational precision, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Key responsibilities include serving as a backup for payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation, and supporting payroll accounting reconciliations related to benefits deductions and equity transactions. The role also involves administering equity programs such as RSU grants and releases, maintaining the employee equity database, and assisting with participant education initiatives. Additionally, the coordinator will manage employee benefits programs, oversee enrollment processes, coordinate with benefits vendors, and maintain accurate benefit records. Managing COBRA notifications, overseeing leaves of absence, and ensuring compliance with benefits regulations are also essential duties.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, with 2–5 years of experience in compensation, payroll, benefits administration, or HR operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential. A solid understanding of benefits regulations, clear communication abilities, and the capacity to handle confidential information with discretion are also required.
