Training Content Developer
As a Training Content Developer at Cato Networks, you will design and develop customer-facing certification training courses. You will play a key role in building the next generation of the Cato Certification Program for customers, partners, and employees as part of the Global Training & Education team.
This role blends instructional design expertise and technical acumen to deliver engaging, scalable, and outcome-driven learning experiences aligned with Cato’s SASE platform. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and continuously improving certification training courses for customers, partners, and internal teams. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to define learning objectives and develop complete learning experiences, including courses, labs, and supporting materials aligned to certification paths. Additionally, you will participate in beta versions of courses to gather feedback and make quality improvements, contribute as a subject matter expert to certification exams, and develop innovative learning strategies, including digital learning, microlearning, and AI-assisted content.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of strong instructional design expertise with experience developing technical certification training. You should possess the ability to simplify complex networking and security concepts for diverse audiences and have strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Enablement. Experience designing hands-on labs and scenario-based learning, as well as familiarity with modern learning technologies, including authoring tools and training lab environments, is essential. Technical expertise should include an understanding of networking and security concepts such as SASE, SD-WAN, SSE, Zero Trust, TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, authentication, and application-layer protocols. Familiarity with cloud and security architectures, experience with virtualization and lab environments, and exposure to enterprise networking or cybersecurity platforms are also required.
