The UAV Operations, Bolt position at Anduril Industries is an integral role within the company's growing Air Dominance team. Day-to-day, the candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting UAV test flights and operational demonstrations, acting as a subject matter expert for unmanned aerial systems across a variety of mission contexts. This includes working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance, maintaining UAV hardware, and troubleshooting on-site issues as they arise. Key responsibilities also involve developing and validating operational procedures, and supporting customer engagements and field trials.
Successful candidates will have experience operating unmanned aerial vehicles in professional or defense environments and hold appropriate UAV certifications such as Part 107. Strong technical skills are required, including familiarity with aviation safety protocols, troubleshooting procedures, and digital mission planning tools. The role requires adaptability, outstanding communication skills, and a willingness to travel frequently to field locations, often working in dynamic outdoor environments under time pressure.
