UK Stenographer (Court Reporter) | Remote – Freelance (Remote UK)

eScribers is seeking experienced Stenographic Court Reporters to join their UK team as remote freelance professionals. In this role, the Stenographer will be responsible for producing high-quality transcripts of legal proceedings, ensuring accuracy and completeness. The position requires adherence to strict deadlines and effective communication to deliver the best possible service to clients. The nature of freelancing means that the volume of work can fluctuate, and there is no guarantee of the level of work that may be offered.

Candidates must reside in the UK and be legally entitled to work there. An excellent understanding of the English language, grammar, and punctuation is essential. Proficiency in technology, including the use of the Internet for research and document creation, is required. Applicants must own a Stenograph machine and associated equipment and commit to the highest data security standards (ISO27001). BIVR accreditation or other related industry certifications are advantageous.
