US: Senior Clinical Research Scientist
The Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Legend Biotech plays a pivotal role within the Clinical Development team, focusing on the advancement of early-phase drug development projects, particularly in autoimmune indications. This position is based in Somerset, New Jersey, and involves close collaboration with Clinical Trial Leads, Medical Leads, and Clinical Trial Managers to design and implement clinical trial protocols, manage study sites, and oversee contract research organizations (CROs).
Key responsibilities include ensuring data review and cleaning activities meet quality standards to support database locks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute clinical studies, and providing strategic input for clinical trial planning, including investigator selection and patient recruitment. The role also involves contributing to the preparation and review of clinical documents such as protocols, informed consent forms, and clinical study reports, as well as providing clinical input for regulatory documents across all stages of the trial lifecycle.
Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical development for Bachelor's degree holders, 3 years for those with a Master's degree, or 2 years for individuals with a PharmD or PhD. Experience in CAR-T cell therapy and/or autoimmune diseases is advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to manage conflicts and negotiations effectively, and proficiency in project management are essential. Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA, and ICH guidelines is also required.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $142,146 to $186,567 per year, with additional performance-based bonuses and equity options available for eligible roles.
