Vehicle Integration Technician (Evening Shift)

Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Vehicle Integration Technician to join our dynamic team in Auckland, New Zealand. As a key member of the Integration team, you will play a crucial role in assembling and integrating mechanical and avionic components, wiring harnesses, and high-voltage batteries onto the Electron launch vehicle. This position offers an evening shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, providing a three-day weekend every week.

In this role, you will be hands-on, working with tools, equipment, and facilities to build, launch, or test Rocket Lab launch vehicles or components. Your responsibilities will directly contribute to the overall production and launch schedule, ensuring the reliability and success of our missions. The Integration team comprises technicians with both avionics and mechanical experience, working collaboratively to achieve our goals.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant trade qualification and at least two years of experience in precision avionic and/or mechanical assembly. You should be comfortable working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service, and possess a keen eye for detail to inspect assemblies to a high workmanship standard. Proficiency in manufacturing components to a high standard is essential.
