Vehicle Testing Specialist
As a Vehicle Testing Specialist at Applied Intuition, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our autonomous vehicle programs. Embedded within our Tokyo team, you will collaborate closely with software engineers and operations staff to ensure the seamless execution of testing activities. Applied Intuition, founded in 2017, is a leader in vehicle intelligence, providing comprehensive software platforms for developing, testing, and deploying intelligent machines across various industries.
Your primary responsibilities will include executing test plans on autonomous vehicle (AV) and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) development vehicles. You will coordinate and refine testing procedures in partnership with software engineers and operations teams, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, you will document detailed notes and formal reports on testing activities and outcomes, work alongside vehicle operators to conduct tests professionally, and champion safety within our vehicle testing programs.
The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience in hardware or software testing, data entry, or related technical fields. Proficiency in troubleshooting computer or hardware issues is essential, along with a keen attention to detail. A collaborative mindset and a strong interest in understanding the functionality of autonomy software are also crucial for success in this role.
Preferred qualifications include experience with software development practices, familiarity with Linux operating systems, and proficiency with tools such as Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace. Prior experience in ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or other automotive work is advantageous.
