Ventures Analyst/ Associate - Enterprise & AI Ventures
Plug and Play Tech Center is seeking a Ventures Analyst/Associate to join our Enterprise & AI Ventures team. This role focuses on developing investment theses, tracking emerging technologies, and producing high-quality research to guide our venture strategy and assist enterprises in staying ahead of disruption. As part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to our mission of accelerating innovation worldwide.
Key responsibilities include developing and refining investment roadmaps in Enterprise & AI, tracking industry trends and competitive landscapes, and identifying promising startups and technologies. You will monitor the performance of notable startups and major industry players, track venture investment activities, and maintain internal knowledge bases to guide sourcing and decision-making. Additionally, you will gather intelligence directly from our enterprise ecosystem through interviews and surveys, translating enterprise perspectives into reports that inform investment theses and help startups understand customer needs.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, with 2–3 years of experience in venture capital, consulting, banking, product, research, or a technical role. Strong analytical and technical skills are essential, along with the ability to evaluate technical products and trends. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as well as a proactive and curious mindset, comfortable engaging with executives and producing clear, engaging, and professional content.
Compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
