The Vice President General Manager at Voyager Technologies is the senior executive responsible for leading an individual line of business, with full profit and loss ownership. This role involves overseeing strategy, execution, and performance across distributed teams to ensure cost, quality, schedule, and margin discipline. The position is available in multiple locations, including Houston, TX; San Diego, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Folsom, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; and Pueblo, CO.

Key responsibilities include providing full P&L leadership, owning and executing the business unit’s strategic roadmap, and leading day-to-day operations across various departments such as engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, program management, business development, people, and finance. The role also involves driving operational excellence through disciplined execution, capacity planning, cost control, ERP utilization, labor tracking, KPIs, and performance dashboards. Additionally, the Vice President General Manager will lead the transition of key programs from development into low-rate initial production and full-rate production, establishing scalable schedules, cost structures, and production models.

Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field, with an MBA preferred. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance, requiring US citizenship. A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in Aerospace, Space, Defense, or advanced manufacturing is required. Demonstrated success in managing P&L, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, cost control, operational readiness, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization is essential. The role also requires an established network in the Aerospace/Defense industry, familiarity with compliance, government contracting, and federal programs, and experience engaging with DoD, prime contractor customers, Boards, investors, and clients. Proven ability to lead and inspire teams across various functions in multi-site or matrixed organizations is necessary.
