Vice President, Operations
The Vice President, Operations at CLEAR will lead the rapidly expanding West region, encompassing airports through the Mountain West, along the West Coast, up to Alaska, and out to Hawaii. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Operations, this role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and customer service across a diverse and dynamic geography. CLEAR is a secure identity platform transforming how people live, work, and travel, with over 30 million members and numerous partners worldwide.
Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day multi-unit operations at airports within the designated region, ensuring adherence to key performance indicators such as security performance, member satisfaction, sales, and employee satisfaction. The role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive-level external partners, to advance business interests. Additionally, the Vice President will spearhead business expansion efforts in existing and new sites within the region, including the adoption of new products at current locations.
The ideal candidate will possess 10-15+ years of experience in business operations leadership, including managing geographically dispersed teams in high-volume, 24/7/365 environments. Proficiency in P&L management, forecasting, and achieving sales goals is essential. Experience in customer optimization, particularly with Net Promoter Score and employee satisfaction metrics, is highly valued. The role requires the ability to balance multiple competing priorities, make rapid business judgments, and build strong sales and service cultures. Strong personal credibility and superior communication skills are necessary to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $220,000 to $260,000, depending on skills and experience.
